2:40pm Thursday 11th March 2010
LOCAL radio station, Wave 105, is celebrating evidence of its continuing success in the shape of an independent audience survey.
It shows that the station now has 388,000 people tuning in, for an average of 9.2 hours a week.
“This is a fantastic result,” said MD, Martin Ball. “Since we first launched Wave 105 nearly 12 years ago, we have evolved our listener experience to reflect the competitive landscape.
“This has been achieved by a great team of people who are passionate about delivering compelling listener entertainment and I am very proud of how they have responded to the challenges of the past year.”
