A303 overnight roadworks

OVERNIGHT resurfacing of the inside lane of the east bound A303, between the A3057 Winchester Road interchange and the Picket Twenty interchange, start ed on Monday and is due to finish tomorrow night.

Eastbound drivers on the A303 will be subject to a tem porary 40mph limit and at times will have to move slow ly through the works in a con voy led by a marked vehicle.

The eastbound slip road onto the A303 at the A3057 Winchester Road interchange will be closed.

Drivers wishing to go east from Winchester Road will be diverted west on the A303 to the A303/A343 Weyhill round about, and will then have to go round the roundabout and rejoin the eastbound A303.

The slip road off the A303 at the A3093 Picket Twenty interchange will also be tem porarily closed.

Drivers wishing to exit east bound from the A303 to access the A3093 Churchill Way, will be diverted to continue east on the A303 to the B3048 at Forton, and directed via the link road to rejoin the west bound A303, using the west bound exit slip at Picket Twenty.

Diversion routes will be clearly signed. The work will be between 8pm and 6am.
