Good Friday Passion Play
8:10am Wednesday 24th March 2010
A DRAMATISED representation of Christ's trial, crucifixion and resurrection, will be performed in Andover High Street following the Andover Churches Together Service and Walk of Witness on Good Friday.
The script for the Andover Passion has been written and adapted by Peter Hutley MBE , who is well known for the Wintershall productions of Life of Christ.
The group, backed by Andover Churches Together and Test Valley Borough Council, has drawn its members from throughout the Christian communities in Andover and district.
Starting at the Time Ring with Christ's confrontation with the High Priest and Sanhedrin, the action will move on to the Guildhall for the trial by Pontius Pilate.
The high Street will form the Way Of The Cross, winding its way back to the Guildhall for the Crucifixion.
