Hopes dashed for return of Sunday buses

HOPES that a Sunday bus service can be re-established in Andover appear to have been dashed because of cash shortages in local government which have seen Hampshire’s bus subsidy slashed by 45 per cent.
Test Valley has just published its biannual review of its Andover Town Access Plan and the revival of a Sunday service is rejected despite a plea from Andover Town Council.
